luckydayyy asked: it is the memoir of a boy soldier in sierra leon in the 1980/1990s during their civil war. it is an easy read in one sense, it is simply written and never gets too, too depressing, but on the other hand, it is one of those, "life-changing" books. it's intense and real and all around an excellent book.
